Description
Starting with the purest vodka from Sheringham Distillery, Beaufort independently extracted 11 different botanicals including wormwood, rosemary, vanilla, lemon and juniper. They then fortified the base wine – an estate-grown Siegerrebe and Schönburger blend – with this special blend of flavoured vodkas, before sweetening with natural cane sugar to off-dry. With wormwood for structure and moderate bitterness; resinous herbs and lemon lending lively citrus notes and a delicate sweetness that provides a nice counter to all of that – this is a real, small batch Island vermouth. Try a glass of Beaufort Vermouth over ice with a twist of lemon or orange for a refreshing aperitif. Alternatively, try it as an ingredient in a classic cocktail like a Vesper Martini or an Americano.
