Description
Colibri wines are made in Friuli-Venezia-Giulia in Northern Italy, and the company’s goal is to produce wines without alcohol but not without flavour.
Their Spumante White is made from Glera—the same grape used in Prosecco—and features the following notes:
Elegant pale straw yellow colour. On the nose, it reveals scents of fruity aromas of sliced and crisp green apples and white flowers.
On the palate, you can taste juicy white fruits together with the vibrant acidity that well balance the sweetness.
Colibri implement organic viticulture and sustainable practices to boot, so the end product is a de-alcoholised wine you can feel good about, and that gives you the freedom to choose to not imbibe without sacrificing the ability to enjoy a good glass of bubbly.
Cheers to that!
