Description
This one has the natural wine flare, in the best sense, with wild and lively aromas of red berries and spice, a bright acidity, and tons of minerality. With a little chill, this becomes a super quaffable red. Pair with wash-rind cheese, or duck. It falls within the Cheverny AOC but Pierre-O has chosen to intentionally declassify it to Vin de France . The name “Vercheny” is an inversion of Cheverny’s syllables.
