Alipús was born in 1999, as a project of the Destilería Los Danzantes, with Don Joel Antonio and sons as the first producers, in San Juan del Río. Alipus XX San Miguel Anniversario from Don Felix Garcia was made with maguey Tobala (Agave potatorum) in San Miguel, Sola de Vega, Oaxaca. It is a single-batch to celebrate 20 years of Alipus. Amazing. There is a particular earthiness before you get to the citrus on the nose. The tepeztate jumps out right away and a lot of freshness from the tobala comes out. This is a very solid!
