Description
Bozal Barril is made with maguey Barril (agave Karwinskii), which is a tall, wide agave that is often used to create live fences for livestock and agricultural enclosures. This mezcal is made in Santa Catarina Minas, Oaxaca, which is famous for it’s tradition of distilling in small clay pots. Bozal Barril is herbaceous with notes of wet forest grass and anise. Additional flavors of agave, honey, and river stone, with a floral aftertaste.
