Mellow Corn American Whiskey

Mellow Corn is a rarity in the whiskey world, as it’s produced from nigh-on 100% corn without the inclusion of wheat or rye for flavouring. It’s also aged in ex-Bourbon casks, versus virgin American Oak casks, which leads to more roundness and sweetness on the palate and in the body, and then it’s Bottled-in-Bond, where it spends 4 years in bonded warehouses before being bottled at no less than 50%. All of these things together make it uniquely bold, sweet, soft, and undeinably mellow. We like it in an old fashioned, but to be honest it works anywhere Bourbon does provided you’re looking for the sweet and not the spice of the whiskey.
