Description
Aged 10 years in ex-Bourbon casks with a finishing period of 1 year in ex-Maison Ferrand Cognac casks, and 11 months in Duvel Barrel Aged (Batch No. 5) Belgain Beer cask. This rum is very fresh and fruity with citrus, green apple and pear followed by vanilla and pastry notes on the nose. The palate follows the nose with even more pastry notes, on roasted almond, white chocolate, shortbread with some grapefruit. The rum was Duvel Barrel Aged because it offers a sensational organoleptic profile in combination with caramel, malt, exotic fruit and chocolate.
